Sept. 29, 2012, my husband and I were driving through Kahoka, Missouri. I decided to take a photo of this vintage, working gas station. I just sat down in my car when this vintage station wagon was driving through. I grabbed my camera and captured it just in time. I managed to stitch the photos together as though it all happened at the same time. I thought what luck that this car should drive through right after I took the photo of the gas station and no other vehicles were around. Photo by Kathy Cornett.
We are Anthony and Kathy Cornett of Bad Birds Photos and Stoneworks. We have lived in Missouri now for nearly seven years. We have lived three different places in that amount of time, Huntsville being the longest of four years. Since then we have lived on the Lamine River west of Booneville, and now just west of Gravois Mills, Missouri. We have been exploring the area here and have enjoyed the rich history Missouri has to offer. Being new to the area, it is so fun to visit other towns and see what they are all about.
